Re: Tarot and the Law of Correspondence
Mon, August 14, 2006 - 10:07 AMI am trying to get DETAILS on this "archeometre". I think I understand your quest on TAROT. The TAROT is informed by almost 3,000 years of threads, fields of study by independent hermeticists and symbologists. In its current form the TAROT of serious symbolist like those in the Golden Dawn Eliphas Levi Tradition have been able to create an artificial (but definately not arbitrary) system of correspondences which cross references most knowledge structures to the cosmological synthesis of the Tree of Life (Athanasius Kircher format). This is significant because synthesis is the faculty of consciousness responsible for understanding the underlying interdependence and unity of the apparently separate phenomena in the universe. Hence any claim to have a "Unified field theory" demands an account of how it relates to the Hermetic Tradition in general and the Tarot in particular. Hermetic Tarot is not unique, but is a crucial example of an integrated knowledge system. Once the structure and relationships of the basic 33 symbol filing system of the Tree of Life is understood it is not difficult to see how to use it as a Rosetta stone of all possible human knowledge. How is Archeometre related to this hermetic system? -

Re: Tarot and the Law of Correspondence
Wed, August 23, 2006 - 8:09 PMbasically, yes, ? your question is convoluted. You seem to grasp the relationship... all sorts of things organize according to the scalar fractal properties of the tree of life or the simple circle. So enromous tables of correspondence can be generated showing how all things have strong and weak correspondences.
